don't you just love when you go through your pile of mail and find something that's been hand-addressed just for you. well, my super talented and very dear friend WENDY WARE is the best calligrapher in all of southern california (for real). everything she touches with her ink filled quill turns into a beautiful piece of loveliness (addressing envelopes, placecards, menu's, custom centerpieces etc). among her packed schedule of calligraphy projects she's managed to create and design her own collection of invitations, placecards, tags and other soiree essentials. i can't wait to preview her collection in the next few weeks before she heads off to the new york stationery show in may. in the meantime...jot down her info { wendy ware: 619-230-1978 } since you may need her devine services in the future.

WHEN SOMETHING ENDS SOMETHING NEW MUST BEGIN

it's so true..."when something ends something new must begin" and this is definitely a new beginning (well ANOTHER new beginning) for me. okay, so sure, this "new beginning" thing isn't really new... i'm just doin' what i've been doin' all along but now it seems official, sorta, because i have a new look and business card. same old me (reni) with with a new tagline (style-design-gift) and i'm excited about the new projects and challenges ahead of me. so, this is it! my first blog and my first post of many to come as i've been so inspired by the creativity and talent out there (locally and in blogland). i'm anxious to write about all the super fab stuff i come across as i continue to love my life and do what i love.
